We purchased two mares in foal at the Fasig Tipton sale on Tuesday. Breeding our own horses has been our plan from the start and we are extremely excited about our first two mares. Both horses are due in April and we can't wait to see the babies at OKeefe Stables Farm.
Both are in foal by new stallion "Fire at Will", a Breeders Cup Juvenile champion on the turf and a winner of $700,000 in only 6 races.
Both mares are extremely well bred:
HIgh Speed Stef is by "Liams Map" a winner of 1.4 million and also a Breeders Cup champion.
Camilla is by "Sharp Azteca" a winner of 2.4 million.
